Sunday, February 21, 2010 @ 6:51 PMI confess , I think I might be addicted to being decent, being Godly and stuff but that's causing me a whole lot of extra trouble instead of making my life better and stuff because I am not penetrating the hearts of my friends and not transforming their lives and my own life for that matter .Being decent isn't bad, its when you get too caught up with all the " I have to be a good Christian and not break any laws" kinda thing , and forget about Jesus, the first love of my life, life feels even more sinful than ever.
Only today, after reading a book called the radical reformission, then did I realise that I'm not going to make a difference being like that, instead of trying to bust up every flawed area of my life with my tiny pistol , I should be sticking with Jesus, who probably has a bazooka or something awesome, it's only then where I can live out the life He lived , with His strength and I won't be as tired and uninspired (thanks for teaching me this phrase van, it came in handy haha) as I am feeling now.
moral of the story :
stick with Jesus, the guy with the bazooka
fyi I am not implying that that porcupine thingy is Jesus I just thought it looked cute with the bazooka.
what's wrong with me? why am I talking about bazooka's so much? oh well, it's kinda fun really :D
